With Rangers currently taking a break from competitive football, the Gers travelled to Dubai to take on Lokomotiv Tashkent. The match was won in convincing fashion, with Steven Gerrard’s side putting six goals past their opponents.
The match also brought a few former Rangers players out to watch the match. One of those players was Madjid Bougherra. The Algerian took control of the Rangers Twitter account to tweet out to supporters. The centre-back made 108 appearances for Rangers over the course of his time with the club. The fans were thrilled to see Bougherra back out with the side. They admit that he was one of their favourite players at the club during his time with the side.

My favourite player from that era. Watching him dribbling the ball up the park and leaving Weir to do his job for him was hilarious.
