After Rangers lost to Hearts in the league this weekend, many Rangers fans were left frustrated. The side hardly tested their opposition, managing to achieve just two shots on target across the 90-minute game. They even lost out in terms of possession, owning just 46% of it.
But one of the players who seriously struggled during the match was Ryan Jack. Jack received a 3.45/10 rating from the BBC for his showing on Sunday. Many Rangers fans agreed with his low score, with many claiming that he has been seriously off for a while now.

Aribo’s touch was awful all day. Kamara was missing and Ryan Jack has an off day.

Ryan Jack has been miles off it since winter break. Against Stranraer, St Mirren and now this game.

One fan claims that his last truly impressive performance came against Celtic in the Scottish League Cup. Since then he hasn’t been good enough.
Ryan Jack should be stamping his authority all over this, no played since the cup final.

Is Ryan Jack's form worrying to you?
No
Yes
There were rumours of the midfielder having an injury when he was substituted at halftime, however.
I wonder if Ryan Jack has been carrying that calf injury for a while He has been a bit subdued in recent weeks

Scott Arfield on for Ryan Jack. You’d imagine he had an injury but Gerrard may be looking to avoid a red card as both he and Flanagan were on yellows.

Guessing Ryan Jack is carrying a knock of some sort. Unlike him not to play well.

What do we think?
If Jack, who is valued at £1.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), is unable to regain his form it could be a huge blow to Steven Gerrard and his squad. If the player is unable to play on Wednesday because of injury, it could be a good time for someone else to step in and prove their worth to the English manager. If they do, it could spark a resurgence from the Scottish midfielder.
