Some Southampton fans have been left raging by the club’s latest ticket update the FA Cup fourth round replay against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Saints managed to hold Jose Mourinho’s Spurs to a 1-1 draw at St. Mary’s this past weekend, forcing the giants to a replay at the Tottenham Stadium. But the Saints released some ticket information about the replay in North London and many fans have been left enraged.
Would you pay £25 for the Tottenham game?
No chance I will
I just have to
When the club’s Twitter account posted the information, Saints fans launched an attack on the club for asking for a huge amount of money for the tickets.
So Tottenham fans pay £10 Saturday and we have to pay £25!!! Disgraceful and greedy pure and simple

Would someone from the club please explain why on earth have we accepted an allocation of only 5600? Ridiculous.

You need to subsidise this Sfc

Absolute joke, the club should of agreed a price beforehand then we could of charged spurs fans £25

As a club we have got to start getting nastier to away fans with regard pricing, when 30 was max we did a season subsiding then to 20 only a handful of clubs repaid the gesture. Make them pay the max #saintsfc

Disgusting! It’s not the final. Albeit Spurs you might think so!

The ticket information link states that the replay takes place on the 5th of February, with the kick-off times yet to be confirmed by the FA. The statement also says that the Saints have been allocated 5,690 seats for the match, along with 26 wheelchair bays.
The Saints currently sit at the ninth position in the Premier League, having 31 points in the bag and are one spot and one point above Arsenal.
The club has scored 31 goals in the division so far and that is the ninth-best record in the Premier League. They have also let in 42 goals so far this season and that is the third-worst record.
What do we think?
It is fair to say that the £25 price is expensive, but Southampton can’t do much about it since Tottenham set the prices. The new Tottenham Stadium would mean that the expenses will be high and Saints fans will have to make do with it.
