Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Cameron Dawson has signed a new contract with the club keeping him at the club until the summer of 2024. A product of the club’s youth set-up Dawson has established himself as the clubs number one.
So far this season, the 24-year-old has made 15 Championship appearances keeping six clean sheets in the process. Although there may have been a few mistakes along the way, his passion for the club shines through every time he takes to the field and so it’s no wonder the fans are thrilled to see him put pen-to-paper.

What do we think?
The supporters and Garry Monk will be hopeful Dawson can make the position his own for many years to come. You can never have too many passionate, home-grown players around the place and as the Owls look to make a charge for the play-off places they will need some of that fight, hunger and desire.
A step in the right direction.
