A lot of Rangers fans are buzzing to hear that their club have agreed a deal with Genk for the transfer of Ianis Hagi.
A report emerged earlier today that the Gers will take the 21-year-old on loan till the end of the season with an option to buy.
Would Hagi be a good signing for Rangers?
Yes, he can add some quality
No, he is unproven
Hagi is the son of former Romania legend Gheorghe and will arrive at Ibrox with a big reputation.
Certainly, this signing has gone down brilliantly with many Rangers supporters.

That really is an ambitious signing. This isn’t the last-minute panic that a lot of cynics thought it would be.

What do we think?
Hagi was very impressive in the European Under-21 Championship as he scored two goals and provided an assist for Romania.
This season he has made 19 appearances for Genk in which he has scored five goals and provided four assists and has achieved an average rating of 6.64 from WhoScored.
The Gers needed some reinforcements after a bit of a wobble in the league last week.
Steven Gerrard’s side were beaten by Hearts to leave them five points adrift of Celtic with a game in hand.
Hagi should provide Gerrard with more attacking options so they can continue their title charge.
