Supporters of Everton have reacted to Dominic King relaying the information that Barcelona’s bid for Richarlison is ‘nonsense’.
According to the journalist, the Toffees were ‘absolutely emphatic’ in their statement that the bid for the Brazilian attacker is ‘nonsense’ and that the matter is now closed (as per Dominic King), which had fans relieved.
Everton absolutely emphatic that the suggestion an £85m bid from Barcelona for Richarlison is nonsense. The matter, as far as they are concerned, is now closed ?

We don’t need any official denial.
We all know as fans it’s a crock of nonsense.— Love Everton (@LuvEvertonForum) January 29, 2020

If Barcelona did actually offer €100 million (£84.6m) for Richarlison, would you want it accepted?Yes, we could reinvest that wellNo, he's worth more than that |
The rumours of a bid from the Spanish giants arose on Wednesday night after Sky Sports reported that the Toffees had immediately rejected a bid of €100 million (£84.6m) for the Brazilian.
However, since, a number of journalists have been on hand to deny the rumours and put any idea of a bid from Barcelona for Richarlison to bed.

Skysports are a joke, they either trying to unsettle players or boosting their income on Skybet.

No sure how it’s not liable. Damages clubs reputations. Potential to unsettle the player and players in both clubs. Could cost the smaller club, Everton, in this case points and millions. All from a lie.

What do we think?
While it is debatable whether the man who has a market value of £54 million (per Transfermarkt) is worth as much as Barcelona reportedly offered, Everton fans seem to believe so.
However, following the tweets of both Dominic King and Patrick Boyland with the club’s version of events, it seems as though this one was just a rumour.
