These Leeds United fans discuss the rumoured Salim Lamrani and Marcelo Bielsa fallout talk.
During Phil Hay’s Leeds based question and answers session, one fan asked if Hay will ever be doing an in-depth article on Lamrani, who is Bielsa’s former interpreter and also an author of many political-based books around Cuba’s relationship with the United States of America.
Sadly, Hay stated he has contacted Lamrani but the former Leeds man isn’t willing to speak to the Athletic journalist.
The Leeds reporter also states that it went sour between the pair.
Here are some of the Leeds fans’ comments on the alleged broken relationship:
Forget the Che Adams deal, this is by far the worst #lufc news in a while.

Were there not rumours Salim got a bit above his station and started acting like a coach?

How can you fall out with an interpreter?! Strange.

This makes me sad

That was me asking that in the Q&A earlier with Phil.
Sad to see things turned sour.— Stephen Lewis (@vegansmithsfan) January 14, 2020
Would you like an in-depth article about Salim Lamrani?
Yes
No
It’s interesting to see that these Leeds fans would have been very keen on reading an in-depth article about Lamrani, given that his role at the club was to translate for Bielsa.
Is it because he went and had xmas dinner with Dallas
— Liam (@liamhall86) January 14, 2020
I saw, totally gutted. Very strange how he just went! Thought he was just returning to his ” proper job”
Heard he was trying to ” coach” and Bielsa didn’t like it.— Karen Cooper (@bodkin63) January 15, 2020
That’s a shame as I really liked him far better than the current fella

What Do We Think?
This is a pretty strange topic to be covered in the January transfer window, but maybe that just goes to show what a unique club Leeds are. Lamrani is probably pretty happy to see that these Leeds fans still care about him, with many of them sad they might not ever get to read that article about him.
