A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Adam Pope’s tweet about the Championship – after two more of the Whites’ promotion rivals slipped up.
Nottingham Forest could only manage a 1-1 draw with Reading while Fulham drew 0-0 with Charlton Athletic.
Can Leeds take advantage of their rivals slipping up?
Yes, they have to
No, they are in bad form as well
However, this latest set of results has left the top of the Championship extremely close.
The Whites now have just a three-point gap to Fulham in third-place, and only three points separate the top six.
This has given some Leeds fans hope that they will take advantage and pull away from the chasing pack.
Can’t say I expected both Fulham & Forest to drop points but hey … c’est le Championship n’est-ce pas? pic.twitter.com/rLgg6Ya1bv

Massive psychological boost for the club over the last 24 hrs Popey, hopefully it’ll galvanise them to get focused and kick on.
Some decent officials wouldn’t go amiss either of course.

Chaos has not only presented us the ladder, it’s offered us the chance to climb it before anyone else. Limited offer.

It’s good news, takes the heat off Tuesdays game a little, the Forest result is the most pleasing.

Any 2 from 7 now. Who wants it the most . Who can handle the pressure ? Who can go on a winning run ? All to play. Exciting

Need to kick on now then, I feel they’ve had a big let off with recent results.

What do we think?
At the moment it is like no one wants to get promoted as all of the contenders keep slipping up.
West Brom, for example, have not won in five while the Whites have only won one of their last seven league games.
In the chasing pack, Forest can’t string a run of consistent results together, and Brentford have lost to Millwall and drew with Huddersfield in recent weeks.
Leeds’ fate is in their hands, and if they can put together a run of wins, as they did earlier in the season, then surely that would be enough to pull away from their rivals.
