A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to Phil Hay’s tweet about Andre Gray.
The Athletic reporter was asked about the possibility of signing the Watford striker, and Hay responded with, “On a very big wage, but that’s one I wouldn’t rule out.”
Would Gray be a good signing for Leeds?
Yes, quality proven Championship goalscorer
No, not what they need
This has given some Whites fans hope they will end up with Gray.
on a very big wage but that’s one I wouldn’t rule out.

Would be very happy with that. He’s lethal it’s only been this season he’s scored less 2 goals only. But not sure how much he’s played. Scoring record prior to that is 14 in 36 for Watford and 32 in 67 for Burnley

Regardless of wages it’s a gamble worth taking if it gets us up. The extra investment next year will more than take care of the money we spend now. Let’s be having yer! MOT

Pace. Can score. Would be a proven, experienced version of Nketiah.

What do we think?
Gray moved to the Hornets in 2017, but he has not managed to hit the heights of his time with Burnley.
For Sean Dyche’s men, Gray scored 23 goals in the Championship and nine goals in the Premier League.
However, a move to Vicarage Road has led to the 28-year-old only scoring 18 goals, and since Nigel Pearson arrived, Gray has only featured for 26 minutes.
Leeds look to have missed out on Che Adams with Southampton wanting to keep the 23-year-old at the club.
This means Leeds will have to move onto other targets, and according to Hay, Gray could be an option.
