A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to Phil Hay’s transfer update on Che Adams.
The Athletic reporter has said that the Whites have still not given up on Adams because Southampton have not actually rejected their offer.
Should Leeds give up on Adams?
Yes, this is taking too long
No, could still sign
This has got many Leeds fans offering up their opinions.
What happened to the deadline that Leeds were going to impose? Seems a bit pointless imposing one if we are still not sure if Southampton want to sell or not. Like, utterly pointless and irresponsible if we are not even sticking to it! #lufc

Frustrating. Kinnears comments have been very misplaced about ‘doing business early’

@Bradders1302 could still be in pipeline…..

We did didn’t we, wanted a answer last week ? but now we are desperate. Its going to be a daniel james situation all over again.

Somehow or other, @LUFC are eclipsing last January’s transfer fiasco. After 3 weeks of ‘moving early’ in Kinnear’s words, we look like pulling somebody out of a bus queue to get a forward to compete with Barn Door Bamford.

What do we think?
The fact that Southampton have not rejected the deal does not mean that it is not dead.
Various reports have emerged over the past week that Adams will not be moving to Elland Road, yet the Whites seem determined to continue a forlorn chase of the former Birmingham City man.
It is no secret that Leeds need a striker, but Ralph Hasenhuttl has said numerous times that Adams will not be leaving the Saints, yet Leeds continue to believe they can sign him.
Time is running out, and Leeds must bring in help for Patrick Bamford, and this long chase of Adams should be forgotten about so that they are not left disappointed.
