On Wednesday Charlton Athletic announced that Beram Kayal’s loan from Brighton and Hove Albion has been cut short. The reason for Kayal’s return was because of a groin injury he sustained requiring surgery. The surgery will rule him out of action, meaning that he will no longer be able to provide his services to Lee Bowyer’s side.
This news comes just days after the club announced that loanee Conor Gallagher would be returning to Chelsea. In response to hearing that both players were leaving, Charlton Athletic fans demanded to know if the club planned on using its newly available loan spots. With these players leaving, they hope that they will be adequately replaced.
does this mean with C.G. gone as well it opens up more loan moves?

Such a shame as is a great player on his day but he didn’t have a proper pre-season and was playing catch up fitness wise, unfortunately this is the result. All the best Beram.

So if we were to sign Cullen we would have 3 loan slots available ?

Do you think Charlton Athletic to focus on bringing in loans or permanent signings
Loans
Permanent
Others joke about the lack of impact Kayal had on the team altogether. With the player making just six appearances, his spell with Charlton hardly seems successful.

What do we think?
With another player leaving the club, there is a massive amount of pressure on the new owners to replace the holes in the squad. This is their opportunity to make a solid first impression with the fans.
