This week Charlton Athletic suffered defeat to Swansea in the Championship. The Addicks lost 1-0 after Yan Dhanda scored the match’s only goal in the 14th minute. Following the defeat, it was announced that Lyle Taylor’s halftime substitution was the result of a thigh injury (which Lee Bowyer later commented on) The player has missed countless games this season because of injury (tansfermarkt.co.uk).
When the news was announced the fans were frustrated. They are tired of all the injuries, and another fan thinks it’s time for him to move on in January. They are ready to say goodbye.

A few other fans don’t think there would be many teams interested in signing such an injury-prone player. They think he is damaged goods.
He won’t move now then as too much of a liability. Not been a good season for him and team coped when he went off. #cafc

What do we think?
Some fans would quite happily see Taylor, who is valued at £900k (as per Transfermarkt), leave in January. If the club can find a suitor who is willing to take him then they would be smart to let him go. As of right now, they are paying a player who is rarely fit.
