Like many teams who came before them this season, Sheffield United fell at the hands of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The Blades put in a decent performance, but Liverpool were just too good. Had Sheffield United won the game, they could have leapfrogged Manchester United into fifth place (Sky Sports).
But Sheffield United fans will be thankful for Dean Henderson. Without the shot-stopper, the club could have lost by a much more considerable amount. In the 11th minute of the match, Henderson made an incredible save on Mohamed Salah. Indeed, fans couldn’t quite understand how the player got his fingers to the shot that was bound for the roof of the net.
What a save

A few minutes later the player came up big again to deny Salah a second time. After the match, one fan suggested he was the Man of the Match while another indicated that it was the only game this season where Henderson was actually busy.
Best GK in the world? Who’s ready for that conversation

Was this Henderson's best performance this season for Sheffield United?
Yes
No
Another Sheffield United fan pleaded with the club to make the £13.5m-rated (per TransferMarkt) shot-stopper’s loan deal from Manchester United a permanent one.
Pay em what they want this month.

What do we think?
Henderson is proving himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the league this season. He has made 52 saves and earned seven clean sheets (Premier League). Only Kasper Schmeichel has more clean sheets this season (Premier League). If Sheffield United could secure Henderson’s signature on a permanent basis it would be a huge move for the club. However, Manchester United could be very interested in making Henderson a longterm replacement for David De Gea and that could make any chance of a permanent move to Bramall Lane being extremely difficult.
