Some Celtic fans are desperately urging the club to make the right sort of signings this month following their loss recently.

The Hoops lost their Old Firm derby clash 2-1 in the Premiership on Sunday. Ryan Kent scored for the Gers, while Odsonne Edouard equalised for the Hoops. But Rangers defender Nikola Katic won the game for them in the second half.

The defeat left Celtic only two points ahead of Rangers, who have a game in hand. This has left many Hoops fans in panic and they feel there is a huge risk of missing out on the title.

Celtic fans: Are you happy with the club's transfer policy?

We're very clueless!

And some Celtic fans are desperate to see their club make the right signings in the upcoming January transfer window.

With the January transfer window now upon us, the Hoops have been linked with a whole host of players. They have been linked with a move for Slovan Bratislava striker Andraz Sporar. Cruzeiro defender Fabricio Bruno has also been linked and so has Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama.

This past summer, the club was very inactive in the transfer window. They spent £11.83million transfers and roped in Boli Bolingoli from Rapid Vienna. They signed Christopher Jullien from Toulouse and also got Hatem Abd Elhamed Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

But the club also let go of youth product of Kieran Tierney in the summer and the left-back joined Premier League giants Arsenal. Emilio Izaguirre, Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Scott Allan and Marvin Compper left the club on free transfers. In total, they earned £24.3million from sales.

What do we think?

It is vital that the club signs the right players this month. A failure to do that will lead to the Rangers’ domination coming back in Scotland and Hoops fans will not like that at all.
