Some Celtic fans have been left fuming by Neil Lennon’s comments about the club not making any more new signings in the January transfer window.
The Hoops boss was recently asked about any more potential transfers from the club, but Lennon confirmed that he will be ‘happy’ if the club doesn’t sign any more players in the January transfer window.
Do Celtic need more January signings?
Absolutely, I'm worried
Not really!
The club has already sealed the signings of Ismaila Soro and Polish striker Patryk Klimala this month.
But when the Hoops social media team posted Lennon’s comments, it left many Celtic fans angry. They made their opinions very clear.
this is the worst tweet since the Rodgers Happy Birthday one

Absolute madness from Lennon, so far he’s brought in 2 squad players when we’re desperate for quality not more “projects”

Klimala arrived at Parkhead from Polish club Jagiellonia Bialystok for a fee of £3.4 million, while Soro arrives from Israeli club Bnei Yehuda for a fee of £2million.
As for Klimala, he had been in good form for his former club as he made 19 appearances in all competitions for the club and scored a total of seven times, racking up three assists too. He made his debut for the Hoops in their recent 2-1 win over Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup. He was on the bench in the club’s recent two Premiership games.
As for Soro, he was a regular in midfield for Yehuda. He made 24 appearances in all competitions for the Israeli club, with 23 of those appearances coming from the defensive midfield position.
What do we think?
It does seem as though the club has done enough in the market, considering there are only three days left for the January window to close. It is very tough for them to thrash out any deal before the deadline comes and Hoops fans have to make peace with it.
