Some West Bromwich Albion fans are desperate to see youngster Jamie Soule get a run-out into the first-team after his recent achievement.
The Baggies have seen the young 19-year-old do well for the club’s Under-23s side in recent weeks. A striker by trade, Soule has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month shortlist after some impressive performances so far.
The shortlist for the award consists of Danny Cashman (Brighton & Hove Albion), Bernardo Costa Da Rosa (West Ham United), Nathan Holland (West Ham United), George Hirst (Leicester City), Arnau Puigmal Martínez (Manchester United) and George Thomas (Leicester City).
West Brom fans: Does Soule deserve a chance?
Yes
No
Some Baggies fans are very happy with the news and want to see the player in the club’s first-team.
If Shan or Big Dave were coaches instead of Bilic, Soule would have played in the first team.

And that’s exactly where Bilic will be key to his development and bed him in when the time is right, if Moore or Shan would’ve thrown him in he was being thrown into a toxic situation and could damage him

The 19-year-old striker is a product of the Baggies’ youth academy and has been at the club since the very beginning of his career. He was promoted to the club’s Under-18s side in the summer of 2017. This past summer, he sealed promotion to the Under-23s side as well.
This season, the man from Cheltenham has played ten times in the Premier League 2. He has found the back of the net six times, racking up a tally of four assists too. He has scored twice in just as many games this season.
Last season, he played for the club’s Under-23s side and Under-18s. In all competitions, he played 29 times. He found the back of the net 16 times and racked up a tally of four assists on the way. Four of those goals came in the Under-18s Premier League, with six of them coming in the Premier League 2.
What do we think?
It is tough to see where Soule can get a chance in the current first-team. Charlie Austin, Hal Robson-Kanu and Kenneth Zohore are the striking options and they have 11 goals shared amongst them. But with the FA Cup coming up and starting soon, that is where Soule can get a chance. He has to jump on one as soon as he gets it.
