These West Bromwich Albion fans loved Kyle Edwards’ tweet celebrating his goal against Swansea City on Sunday.

Edwards is just 21-years-old and has already played 16 times for West Brom this season, scoring twice and yet to register an assist in the league. The youngster hasn’t asserted himself as a regular starter yet, with Edwards making just five starts out of his total 16 Championship appearances.

Is Kyle Edwards West Brom's biggest prospect?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Edwards was only on the pitch for 19 minutes, however, that didn’t stop him from scoring in the 5-1 against Swansea, which has left some fans feeling as though there is still plenty more to come from the youngster in the future.

What Do We Think?

Edwards is showing lots of promise so far, however, the 21-year-old does need to add some consistency to his performances, with Edwards’ highest WhoScored rating across his last 10 games being 7.11/10 and his lowest being 5.94/10. However, with Slaven Bilic at the helm at The Hawthorns, it would be difficult to suggest that the youngster wouldn’t be able to develop further over the course of the season and it would not be a surprise if many of the Baggies’ faithful decide to keep a close watchful eye on his progress over the remainder of the campaign.
