As the footballing season becomes increasingly busy, football teams are looking to pick up as many points as possible before the new year. This is also the case for Rangers who play three games before January. But while the footballing season is busy, the players and coaching staff have still made time to give back to their community. This week the Gers visited Glasgow Children’s Hospital.
When the club shared images of the team’s trip, fans’ hearts were filled. They thought some of the photos were precious.

Some fans shared how much it meant to them personally. There were a few families who were visited by the players and, according to them, the children and parents were ‘over the moon’ to see them.

What do we think?
While it was a simple gesture, the visit from the players meant a great deal to the children and their families. Visits like this are what the Christmas season is all about. Not only that, it shows just how strong the connectivity and community that surrounds football really is.
