Queens Park Rangers fans loved celebrating the first clean sheet of the season with goalkeeper Joe Lumley.
Lumley has played 14 out of the 20 Championship games so far this season, however, up until Saturday, QPR had failed to keep the ball out of the back of the net in all of their league matches.
Luckily for Rangers, the 24-year-old keeper was on top form and managed to see out the much needed clean sheet, also finishing the match with a WhoScored rating of 7.2/10.
Fans were clearly delighted, as many of them took to Twitter after to share their immediate reactions to his achievement.

Enjoy sleeping in your Clean Sheets tonight, @joelumley!
You were different class today! One of the best games I’ve seen you play. Something special today. ROLL ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!— Lukas Ross (@_mr_qpr_) December 7, 2019
Is Joe Lumley QPR's best ever goalkeeper?
Yes, he's amazing
No way
It’s likely that the performance against Preston will have firmly cemented his position as number one choice for QPR, making a total of three saves to make sure Rangers walked away with all three points.
Where’s all the haters tonight. Great performance Joe!

What Do We Think?
QPR and Joe Lumley definitely needed this clean sheet. Rangers have conceded 37 goals, giving them the third-worst defensive record in the Championship this season, with Barnsley and Luton the only two teams to have a worst defensive record.
