On any other day, Rangers fans would be celebrating their team’s victory in the Scottish League Cup Final. The Gers outplayed their rivals in the match, producing 16 shots to five (BBC). Their opponents scored with their only shot on target, while Fraser Forster saved all seven of Rangers’ shots on goal.
But while Forster played out of his skin, Rangers fans saw a side of Alfredo Morelos in this match that didn’t impress them. The Colombian had many opportunities to score, including a penalty, which was saved by Forster. The striker was incapable of finishing any of the chances presented to him.

Do you think Morelos bottled it during the Scottish League Cup Final?
Yes
No
One fan even pointed out that had Morelos, who is valued at £6.75 million (as per Transfermarkt), passed the ball in certain situations, he could have assisted his teammates. They think he is getting a bit greedy when on the ball.
He’s getting greedy man

What do we think?
Given Morelos’ goal-scoring record over the last few weeks, it is tough to criticise him for shooting whenever he gets an opportunity to. Over the past month, almost everything he has touched has hit the back of the net. He will be looking for redemption when the two teams meet at the end of the month.
