Many of these Millwall fans were quick to praise manager Gary Rowett after another impressive win against Derby.
Rowett joined Millwall in October and has now played eight matches at The Den, averaging 1.88 points per game. The 45-year-old’s career started at Burton Albion, where he started out as an assistant manager to Paul Peschisolido, before taking over himself for 135 matches.
Here’s what the Millwall fans had to say about Gary Rowett:
A very happy Gary Rowett!

You say one word to Rowett and then he just speaks for non stop for six whole minutes. This is the manager I have always dreamed of. Thank you Garry!!

Refreshing! The honesty and tactical nouse is top notch. If the players keep listening and putting in a shift there’s no reason we can’t finish top 10 at an absolute minimum.

Makes a refreshing change to have a knowledgeable gaffer who talks shape and strengths of the squad instead of reeling off a load of excuses

Will Millwall finish in the top 10 this season?
Yes
No
Millwall has recorded eight wins in 22 matches so far this season, putting them 11th in the Championship, however, the Lions are the ninth-lowest scorers in the league, so Rowett still has some work to do to get his side to the next level. However, it clearly appears as though some of the club’s faithful are delighted with what he is bringing to south London and hoping he can continue to do it for as long as possible.
Can honestly say I could never listen to a complete Harris post match interview as it was always full of excuses but GR doesn’t dress it up, he knows the squad limits and makes them play to their strengths. The man talks a lot of sense

Still cant get used to this. Long may it continue.

What Do We Think?
Currently, Rowett is in his best form as a manager when looking at points per game, with his second-best management spell coming at Derby with 1.6 points per game after 60 matches. Many Millwall fans will be hoping to continue this fine form, as a top 10 finish is looking very likely with the way they are currently performing.
