Some Celtic fans are desperate to see the club sign a bargain buy in Slovan Bratislava striker Andraz Sporar in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Reports from the Daily Mail recently said that the Hoops are interested in signing Sporar in January, with the club having sent scouts to watch him in his side’s recent 4-2 loss to Braga in the Europa League on Thursday.
Although, Neil Lennon has since stated that there is nothing in the links.
Celtic fans: Would Sporar be a good signing?
Get him!
Not good enough!
Regardless of Lennon’s update, it’s clear to see that some Celtic fans want him at Parkhead.

Scottish league would be a similar level.
He’s shown he can score in Europe this season too.

Saw him in a couple of Europa League games this year, the boy looks decent. Celtic do need some additional fire power, so happy to see they are interested. Thanks for sharing.

I would be over the moon with this if true

The Slovakian frontman has been in impressive form this season. The 25-year-old has been a regular for his club so far, finding the back of the net 20 times and assisting five times in a total of 26 appearances in all competitions.
In the Europa League for Slovan, Sporar has played six times in the group stages of the competition. He has racked up five goals during this time, racking up two assists as well. In the qualifying rounds of the competition, he had played six times and had one goal while assisting twice.
He had impressed for the club last season too. In 36 appearances in all competitions for them, he had scored 34 times and had a tally of nine assists as well. In the Europa League, he had scored five times.
What do we think?
Sporar’s numbers show that he can very well score some crucial goals for a Europa League club like Celtic. He has shown that for two consecutive seasons. Indeed, for a club that will look to go as far as possible in Europe, Sporar can play a crucial role.
