Liverpool fans have been calling on Twitter for Timo Werner to sign for the club in the future.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying information originally published by journalist Kevin Palmer saying that Werner is likely to be replaced at Leipzig by Erling Haaland.
The post then asked their followers if they would like to see Werner join the Merseyside club in the future.
Should Liverpool try and sign Timo Werner?
Yes, get him in
No, keep him
This post then gathered some replies from Liverpool fans saying they would be interested in seeing the German play under Jurgen Klopp.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans calling for Werner to come to Anfield:
Him playing in front of our front 3 would be deadly

The 23-year-old, who is currently valued at £67.5 million according to TransferMarkt, is on hot form for Leipzig this season. In all competitions so far this season, the German has made 24 appearances, scored 23 goals and picked up nine assists (per TransferMarkt). Given this fantastic record, it comes as no surprise that so many Liverpool fans want to see Werner join their club.
Yeah we should.
Him and minamino would be amazing capture for our team.

It would be foolish not to be interested

I hope Klopp pinches him

What do we think?
If Liverpool do manage to sign Werner, he would undoubtedly boost what is already a formidable strike force and can offer a more deadly touch in comparison to Roberto Firmino’s link-up play.
Although, If Klopp decides he wants to see his fellow German at the club, they will have to fork out a lot of money to secure his services, as his Transfermarkt value suggests he won’t come cheap.
Of course, securing Takumi Minamino and Timo Werner in the same transfer window would be something special.
