Watching his performances in Qatar, Brighton knew that keeping hold of Alexis’ services for too much longer was going to be a tricky task, but they were able to have him see out the remainder of the 2022-23 season, where his 15 goal involvements in 35 games were able to help Brighton secure Europa League football for their first time in club history.

With Jurgen Klopp’s side set to undergo a major rebuild in the summer, it’s clear that Alexis’ is going to become a focal point in Liverpool’s team for years to come, with management and fans hoping that the Premier League title will return to Anfield before too long.
