This quarter-final Carabao Cup clash against Dean Smith’s side at Villa Park will see the Mersesysdie club place their younger players in the match, while the first-team are in Qatar preparing for the FIFA Club World Cup.

This Carabao Cup clash with Villa will be a perfect opportunity for the Liverpool youngsters to show what they can do on the pitch against Premier League opposition. For Chirivella in particular, if he can put out a solid performance as captain, with Klopp watching from Qatar, he would surely be one to get a chance to play in the first team in the future.
