Liverpool fans have been reacting to the club’s latest January transfer rumour on Twitter.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying information originally published by UOL Esporte that the club have made contact with Evanilson.
This then led to some Liverpool fans replying to the post with their takes on this latest rumour.
Do Liverpool need to sign a striker in January?

The club are reported to have been watching the 20-year-old play for Brazilian club Fluminense as they look to improve the attacking depth at Anfield.
Despite yet another name being linked with a move to the club, some Liverpool fans are not convinced by this latest rumour.

What do we think?
Evanilson has only made three appearances for his club so far this season, but in those three appearances, he has managed to score two goals (per Transfermarkt). Given that Liverpool already have their own Brazilian striker in Roberto Firmino, it seems unlikely that a move for Evanilson could dethrone Firmino as Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice centre-forward. But if the club do manage to secure the 20-year-old, he could prove to be a handy prospect for the future.
