A lot of Leeds United fans have slated Luke Ayling after he turned in a poor performance during the Whites’ 1-1 draw with Preston North End.
The right-back has been one of Leeds’ most consistent performers since he joined the club in 2016.
Should Ayling be dropped?
Yes, too many poor performances recently
No, deserves a chance to turn it around
However, both against Fulham and Preston, the 28-year-old has performed poorly, and some Leeds fans were not happy with him.
Luke Ayling had a nightmare of a game. Worst i've seen Leeds in ages. Everybody coming to the party, but not the team. Here we go again

Have to agree, he was awful and cooper alongside him, looked liked they had never seen each other before, copper can’t play with his right foot….typical lower league player

Love him but Luke ayling is a massive weak link. Worst we have played under bielsa in that half. Nobody on that bench anywhere near good enough to come on and change the game.

What do we think?
In both of the last two matches, many of Leeds’ players have not performed well, but Ayling has been particularly poor.
However, despite struggling, he still emerged from the match with an assist after he pulled the ball back to Stuart Dallas, who blasted the ball home via a deflection. (1:41)
The former Bristol City man, who is valued at £2.25m by Transfermarkt, managed to play the ball behind Dallas but he wrapped his foot around the ball and got his effort on target. (1:41)
Leeds have struggled in the last three games, and they really need players like Ayling to step up in the coming weeks.
