Some Celtic fans are fuming at one of the decisions that were made in the club’s recent Premiership win against St. Mirren on Boxing Day.
Neil Lennon’s men have now not lost a single game in a little over two months in the top-flight. Their last league defeat came at the Livingston back in October.
The win over St. Mirren saw James Forrest and Callum McGregor score a goal each, as the Hoops brought back their five-point lead at the top of the Premiership. Rangers have a game in hand, with the Old Firm derby coming up.
Celtic fans: Was Edouard offside?
Never an off, the ref has no clue
He was off, who cares
Odsonne Edouard started the game, but his potential goal was chalked off for offside in the second half. This hasn’t left many Celtic fans pleased as they thought Edouard was onside.
Outrageous decision

Despite Edouard’s goal being called out for offside, he has enjoyed a very good season for the Hoops while playing as the regular striker.
This season, the Frenchman has played 30 times in all competitions. He has scored as many as 15 goals, while also racking up a total of 14 assists. In the Premiership, he has played 16 times for the Hoops and has scored 11 times, assisting seven times on the way.
Last season, he played 52 times in all competitions. He scored 22 times during this time, assisting eight times.
He is currently the club’s most expensive player. He came to the club from French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2018 for a fee of £9million.
What do we think?
Edouard is Celtic’s first-choice striker for a reason. He is their most influential goal-getter. While the goal was unfairly disallowed against St. Mirren, there are many more to come. Half the season is still left.
