Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest club news surrounding their recent Premier League appeal.

This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by The Telegraph that Liverpool have been allowed by the Premier League to wear their Club World Cup winners badge for one game only.

Should Liverpool be allowed to wear their gold badge all season?

Yes

Yes

No

No

This post then gathered many frustrated replies from Liverpool fans who were not happy with this news.

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to the news:

Last week Liverpool beat Flamengo 1-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup final. After winning the final, the club were told they would not be allowed to wear the Cup winners gold patch on their shirts in domestic matches unless they send in a formal application to do so. Now that the club have sent in an application, they have only been given one Premier League match they can wear it in, their home fixture against Wolves on 29 December.

This news made some Liverpool fans tweet out their frustrations with the decision.

What do we think?

It was assumed that a successful application to the Premier League would result in Liverpool being allowed to wear their badge for the whole season and not just one permitted match.

This decision feels like a slap in the face to Liverpool and is rather confusing.
