Some Celtic fans have voted about their moment of the decade and are sure that Tom Rogic’s goal to make the Hoops an invincible treble winner back in the 2016-17 season is the one.
The Hoops are currently at the top of the Premiership table this season, having beaten Aberdeen in the recent league game. Goals from Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard were enough to take the club five points clear at the top of the Premiership.
Celtic fans: Was the Rogic Invincible Treble the moment of the decade?
It sure was!
Tony Watt one is the best!
But with the decade coming to an end, some Celtic fans are sure that Rogic’s winner against Aberdeen in the Scottish FA Cup final of 2017 is the moment of the decade.
An invincible treble will likely never happen again – to witness it happening and the way it was sealed at Hampden that day will long be remembered .

It was under the tutelage of Brendan Rodgers that the Hoops won the invincible treble at the end of the 2016-17 season. Against Aberdeen in the Cup final that season, they had gone 1-0 down early in the game. It was would-be Hoops star Jonny Hayes who had scored before Stuart Armstrong made it 1-1 and Rogic won the game for them in stoppage time.
In the Premiership that season, Celtic had dominated the division. They had picked up as many as 106 points and had scored a total of 106 goals in the competition. They conceded only 25 goals – the lowest in the league.
As for Rogic, he had done well for the Hoops that season. The Australian played 37 times in all competitions that season. He scored as many as 12 times during this time, racking up a tally of six assists as well.
What do we think?
It is fair to say that a moment like that can’t happen again. And the full context of it made it something that happens only once in about 50 or 60 years. While beating Barcelona in the Champions League was a good moment, the Hoops were prominent in Europe some years ago. But the invincible treble was truly something that is impossible to match.
