Aston Villa fans have been calling on Twitter for James Chester to return to the starting XI.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @VillaViews_ shared a post on their page claiming it is now time for Chester to start playing in the Villa team again for his “calming influence” and “leadership” in defence.
Should James Chester start in Villa's game against Norwich?
Yes, we need him
No, he's not ready
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans all agreeing with the statement.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans wanting to see Chester play in the future:

Totally agree with this, his experience would be vital with Mings being out

He’s still our best defender tbh

The Welshman played his first game for Villa since January last week in their 5-0 win over Liverpool in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup after recovering from a long term injury.
With Villa conceding three goals in the last Premier League match against Southampton, some fans have been thinking of a change in the defensive line, with Chester possibly coming in.
Bring out the Rolls Royce..

100% agree with this. Not so much based on ability but when mings is out we miss an organiser back so bad

What do we think?
With first-choice centre-half Tyrone Mings currently out with an injury, it comes as no surprise that some Villa fans have been wanting to see Chester play in the Premier League after his return last week. But with him having been out for so long, Smith will need to be very careful if he is to return to the physicality and high speed of the Premier League.
