Despite controlling their own fate going into the last match of the UEFA Europa League group stage, Rangers fans will regret not earning automatic qualification against Feyenoord this week. The team found themselves 2-1 up after two incredible headers from Alfredo Morelos. However, some poor defending in the 68th minute allowed Luis Sinisterra to pull back an equaliser.
In the post-match press conference, Steven Gerrard spoke about the match, claiming his team could have been much better in the first half. He showed extreme decorum as he answered questions about a controversial non-penalty call, a disappointing first-half performance and the value of his star striker, Morelos.
Fans loved Gerrard’s press-conference manner and appreciated his honesty.
He always gives an honest opinion and report

A 7 minute faultless display by Gerrard.
If fellow Rangers fans ever wish to see an example of how to conduct yourself this is it. Take note.— BD Drew (@bluediamond62) November 28, 2019
What do we think?
Coming from a club like Liverpool where the spotlight was constantly on him, Gerrard’s ability to show such decorum in interviews has been built up over time. But these Rangers fans love his no-nonsense approach to answering journalist. However, it’s his ability to lead his team to victory that fans will value the most.
