This week Dave King announced during the club’s AGM that he would be stepping down from his role at Rangers. The South African began his position as chairman nearly five years ago after taking control of the club off of Mike Ashley. Since his appointment, King has been a pivotal figure in the leading of the club’s resurgence (Telegraph).
King will vacate his role during the early stages of 2020. After hearing the news , fans had nothing but high praise for the businessman. They insist that the club would not be where it is today without him. Nobody has done as much for the club than him.
Think hes been so under appreciated in what hes done for the club.

Without Dave King we wouldn’t be where we are today. He doesn’t get the recognition he deserves

Others believe he has done enough to warrant having a statue built after him. King has brought them back within reach of earning a 55th league title.
Announce Dave King statue

Do you think King has earned the right to have a statue built after him?
Does Dave King deserve an Ibrox statue?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Rangers fans will be sad to hear that the chairman is standing down. They will forever be grateful for his contributions to the football club. If the club wins its 55th league title this year, they will certainly have him to thank.
