Supporters are relieved that West Ham has been linked as a possible destination for David Moyes.
On Tuesday night, the Mirror reported that the Toffees were set for a ‘tug of war’ with the London club over the Scottish manager (via Everton News Feed).
With Toffees fans not keen on the possible return of the 56-year-old, many were welcoming the rumour and were happy to see him potentially return to the Hammers.

Should Everton allow West Ham the freedom to appoint David Moyes?
Yes
No
The former Toffees gaffer spent 11 years at Goodison Park before jumping ships to Manchester United to replace Sir Alex Ferguson (as per BBC).
However, following his sacking from the Red Devils, the Scot went on to be sacked by Real Sociedad, Sunderland and finished his spell the Hammers after six months in charge (per Transfermarkt).
Despite the rumours that Everton’s owner, Farhad Moshiri, was keen on the 56-year-old (per The Mirror), Toffees fans would be happy to see West Ham take Moyes and the Goodison Park club look elsewhere.
I love David Moyes…. BUT he’s not a manager to take us to future success… Roberto Mancini gets my vote !!!

One fan stated that the fact he’s being linked with the Toffees and the Hammers suggests his agent has had a big part to play, with his recent managerial record not so great.
His agent is playing a blinder here. As. If.

What do we think?
What Everton need right now is guaranteed success in the short term, or a manager to come in with a long-term vision and set plans in place for the future – David Moyes represents neither.
Jorge Jesus is much more likely to represent the first and Mikel Arteta or Eddie Howe much more capable of the latter, on this occasion, West Ham should be allowed victory.
