Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to plead with their club to rest Mohamed Salah for today’s clash with Crystal Palace.
This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page which stated that a late decision will be made on Mohamed Salah.
The tweet also included an article from the Liverpool website on other comments made by Klopp in his latest press conference ahead of the Premier League match against Palace.
This post then led to a number of replies from Liverpool fans asking for Salah not to be risked in the match.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans hoping Salah doesn’t play against Palace:
Give Shaqiri a go, we need Mo for the rest of the season!

No way do not risk it…. There are bigger games coming up

Rest him for Tuesday .. Or at a push put him on the bench and hope we don’t need him to come on at Palace

The Egyptian picked up a minor injury in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Premier League champions Manchester City, which prevented Salah from representing his country in the recent international break.
Now with the news of a potential return to action for Liverpool, some Reds fans think Salah should not be risked.
Rest him… Shaq is back

Just rest him. He has short of fitness of late

Rest him, stop risking his ankle. We should win at Palace with him on the bench or on his couch.

What do we think?
Given how important Salah is for Liverpool, having produced nine goals and five assists in all competitions so far this season, it comes as no surprise that some Reds fans don’t want Klopp to take any chances when it comes to the winger’s fitness. If Salah can sit out the Palace game to regain his full fitness, this will surely put him in a good position for Liverpool’s festive run of fixtures.
