19-year-old Leif Davis impressed many of the Leeds United fans with his performance against QPR last time out.
The teenager was brought off the bench in the 84th minute, however despite the lack of game time, the young defender still managed to impress many fans.
The 19-year-old joined Leeds when leaving Morecambe in July 2018. So far this season he has managed to play 12 minutes across two Championship appearances.
Leif Davis has been a threat down the left since he came on. Ball inside to Roberts whose shot draws a parry from Kelly. #lufc

Very good, Davis! #lufc

One of the only downsides to Davis is his height, with the left-back standing at just 5ft4in tall. This is shown when looking at the number of aerial duels the young man wins, with the 19-year-old only winning 0.5 duels per game on average.
VERY GOOD

See him at Villa Park last season, impressive that day

He has always been good whenever he played. Hopefully Bielsa will play him more.

What Do We Think?
It’s good to see that despite coming on so late in the game, Davis still managed to impress the fans. His WhoScored rating for his performance against QPR is a solid 6.7/10, which when you factor in his age looks very promising.
However, only playing 12 minutes so far should be a concern for most fans, perhaps if the 19-year-old was sent out on loan to a League One club, he could then play much more regular first-team football and be ready to, potentially, become a key member of Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team.
