Marcelo Bielsa’s pre-QPR press conference has left many fans expressing their frustration with the lack of goals so far this season.

The press conference was ahead of the clash against QPR, who have scored 24 goals this season; a total which is seven greater than what Bielsa’s side (17) have managed to achieve so far, as per WhoScored.

Surprisingly, the last six times the clubs have met, it’s Leeds who have scored the most goals, as they have managed to put eight past The Superhoops, whereas Mark Warburton’s side has scored just five.

Another surprisingly high Leeds stat is the average shots per game, which is 16.4, that’s 2.9 more shots on average than what QPR manage to achieve every time they take to the pitch.

What Do We Think?

The stats definitely don’t agree with the fans, with Leeds managing to have plenty of shots this season and in this fixture, they don’t appear to have trouble when scoring plenty of goals.

Although The Whites have struggled to score this season, perhaps with a few players getting back to fitness, they can find their shooting boots once again and get their automatic promotion hopes back on track.
