Aston Villa fans have shared their delight on Twitter with the latest news on Jack Grealish’s injury.
Villa’s official Twitter account shared a quote from manager Dean Smith who is expecting Grealish to be fit to face Wolves at the weekend.
Many Villa fans were delighted with the news, which can be seen down below:

Grealish picked up a calf injury in Villa’s 3-0 defeat away at Manchester City last month. Since then he has missed Villa’s 2-1 win over Wolves in the Carabao Cup and their recent 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend in the Premier League. Villa manager Smith also revealed how Grealish could have played a part in the weekend’s match against Liverpool, but woke up on the day not feeling fit enough to play after completing a training session on Friday.
It was first reported by the Daily Mail that Grealish’s injury could have kept him on the sidelines for a full month, but the Englishman has made a quicker recovery than first feared.
Bring him on, Wolves are up for it.

What do we think?
The 24-year-old has been crucial to Villa’s successes so far this season. In 10 Premier League appearances, Grealish has picked up two goals and three assists so far. Also, in just 46 minutes of playing time in the Carabao Cup, he has scored two goals and made one assist (per Transfermarkt).
With Villa having beat Wolves in the Cup last week without Grealish, his return would surely boost Villa’s chances in making it two wins out of two against their local rivals this season.
