Everton supporters have taken to Twitter to beg the Toffees’ former midfielder, Idrissa Gueye, to return to Merseyside.
Early on Monday morning, the 30-year-old posted a message of support to Andre Gomes following his horror injury in Everton’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday (per BBC).
With the club’s supporters still reeling over the Senegalese’s departure from Merseyside to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer (via The Guardian), many were asking to see a return.

The 30-year-old defensive midfielder played at Goodison Park for three seasons following his £7.65-million arrival from relegated Aston Villa in 2016 (per Transfermarkt).
In his three-year stay with the Toffees, the midfielder made 108 appearances, scoring four and assisting five over the duration (as per Transfermarkt).
With the Merseyside club struggling this season (per Daily Mail), since his departure for PSG in the summer, fans were calling for their former man to make his Everton return.
