Celtic fans were not happy on Twitter after star player Scott Sinclair was an unused substitute in their 2-0 victory over St Mirren on Wednesday at Celtic Park.
Second-half goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and James Forrest sealed the points for the Hoops as they remain top of the Scottish Premier League, with rivals Rangers hot on their heels in second place.
But Sinclair did not feature in the victory and the 30-year-old has only featured for the Bhoys on six occasions this season, being limited to a total of 86 minutes of football.
Fans on Twitter were unhappy that their star man was not given any football once again.
Absolute travesty, sort the Sinclair situation out and stop letting the team suffer as a result of whatever pettiness has been going on.

Treat sinclair the way youd want treated yourself neil , he s a better option than hayes and morgan , you could play sinclair through the middle and give eddy a rest in certain games .

How the hell can Morgan be chosen over Sinclair?

We have a striker. Scott Sinclair on 35k a week who could’ve started tonight and gave Eddy a rest. A joke. We’re miles ahead trust me.

Scott Sinclair is being treated very unfairly at Celtic just now.

What do we think?
Sinclair was probably hoping to use some of these winter fixtures to get back into the Celtic side and last night would have been the perfect moment for the Englishman to get some more minutes under his belt. Concerns regarding injuries in the final third of the pitch may have also proved to be an opportune time for the attacker to add to his tally of 62 goals and 34 assists in his 166 appearances (Transfermarkt), although it appears Neil Lennon is reluctant to do so. With his contract up at the end of the season, many Bhoys fans will continue to be wary that their star man could leave Parkhead to seek regular football elsewhere.
