Jim White shared that he thought Leeds United fans were brilliant during the 2-0 defeat to Brentford on Monday.
The talkSPORT host highlighted Whites supporters while discussing their loss to Brentford and also noted that he was impressed by Bees fans.
“Those Leeds United fans were brilliant yesterday and Brentford, great home support yesterday, loud, really really noisy throughout, they were terrific,” said White on talkSPORT (11:52am, Tuesday April 23rd).
After losing to Brentford on Monday Leeds now sit third in the Championship, three points behind second-placed Sheffield United.

White may have only used one-word to describe Leeds fans on Monday but it was effective. Marcelo Bielsa’s side submitted a lacklustre performance and suffered a disappointing loss as a result, but that didn’t stop Leeds fans cheering them on throughout. Leeds fans are known for being loud, known for being passionate and are regularly praised for those reasons. However it says so much about them that they will still able to come across as brilliant even though their side weren’t giving them much to cheer about. While the odds are stacked against Leeds to win automatic promotion as the Blades are in the driving seat, supporters need to keep being positive in order to spur their team on. Even if Bielsa’s side miss out on automatic promotion, all is not lost as it’s not like the play-offs are unwinnable. Leeds have a very talented side and if they perform to the best of their ability, they can still achieve promotion despite the recent set-backs.
