Even Twitter can have a sense of humour sometimes. Andrea Radrizzani’s Tuesday afternoon tweet that showed him with a baseball bat in his hand and perched on an armchair shaped into a baseball mitt brought the best out of Leeds United fans on social media. Radrizzani revealed he has struck up a business relationship with the baseball and softball world governing body, WBSC. Supporters loved the baseball bat image, asking if he was preparing for, among others, the Millwall match, Bristol City owner Stephen Lansdown and departing Football League chief executive Shaun Harvey. One wag claimed it was now clear why Leeds have suffered around 50 senior player injuries, to leave the medical team overworked and supporters’ heads spinning. Radrizzani, who loves to post upbeat Twitter updates about Leeds and his business interests, will no doubt appreciate the humour of the fans among his followers.
