OPINION
The Leeds Under-23 side is packed full of serious talent and there are plenty more who can follow Jack Clarke into the first-team. One of them looks a serious player – and he’s only 17-years-old. Mateusz Bogusz arrived from Poland in the January window, brimming with confidence on the back of some impressive write-ups and reviews from his home country. When he arrived he said he wanted to make the first-team and on the evidence of his first few games in England, he really can’t be far off. First-team player Mateusz Klich has already said that Bogusz is probably going to be a better player than him and that’s serious praise for someone so young. The problem with him making his first-team bow is that every game for Leeds between now and the end of the season is likely to be a cup final – right through until the final day of the season. However, Leeds are crying out for a number 10 and Marcelo Bielsa isn’t afraid to use youngsters if he thinks they’re good enough. Leeds fans watching their Under-23s beat Fulham in the Premier League cup last night are already convinced.
Here are the best reactions to Bogusz’ latest display for Leeds:
get him in first team

Matuesz Bogusz is a player. 17 years old and he has been by far and away the best player on the park tonight. #lufc

This was a chance for us to get fringe players some game time for the big game this weekend. Bogusz who we have is quality though and he's only 17. Did well to though so fair play to you, thought you had it when we went down to 10 men

Great result for the 10-man U23s on penalties tonight. Bera smashed his pen home nicely, as did Clarke. Must say I like the look of Bogusz and Struijk in particular. #LUFC
