Sky Sports pundit Andy Hinchcliffe drools over “extraordinary” Leeds United in a car park exchange with Scott Minto after the demolition of West Brom.
Sky anchor Minto hosted a short chat with former Everton star Hinchcliffe from outside Elland Road after Leeds’ stunning 4-0 triumph over automatic promotion rivals on Friday night.
“Extraordinary performance from Leeds United,” Hinchcliffe said in a video that was uploaded on to Twitter.
“Against QPR in midweek they were diabolical. Marcelo Bielsa must have got stuck into his players for two days and that is the result, one of the best performances of the season in the Championship.”

Leeds’ performance was so dominant against a team fourth in the table and with far superior resources that pundits were in absolute awe of them afterwards. Yes, even Keith Andrews, notwithstanding him questioning whether United could maintain the relentless pace they had set in tearing the Baggies apart in one of the best displays of this or any other season from a Championship side. Hinchcliffe summed it up perfectly, as he did the transformation from Tuesday night, when Leeds produced one of their poorest displays under Marcelo Bielsa. There have been plenty of scintillating shows since Bielsa took the reign, with the Elland Road faithful witnessing the best football since their Premier League days when the likes of Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell were pulling the strings, but none could quite compare to how West Brom were played off the park on a night that will go down in the annals.
