COMMENTARY
Ryan Kent had Rangers fans singing his praises when featuring in the 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock on Saturday. The 22-year-old attacker has been a fantastic loan signing for the Gers this season and it will be shame if he ends up going to back to Liverpool rather than having his long-term future be Ibrox. While Kent’s display against Killie wasn’t one of his best, he was one of the only players that you could have praised for their performance on Saturday as several under performed. It’s no surprise that a few Gers supporters below were urging their club to sort out a permanent deal for the 22-year-old due to this. Arguably Kent will need to up his performances in the coming weeks based on his display against Kilmarnock but at least he looked up for the challenge unlike others players. The 22-year-old has featured 29 times this season which is lot considering he didn’t have loads of first-team experience ahead of arriving, and it is doing him the world of good.

Defoe should’ve passed to Kent. Kent made a very run in between the right back and the centre back

Dire first half from Rangers. Middle to front offering nothing and zero quality on ball. Defence looks suspect. Our captain has been brutal. Kent gets the ball and our midfield just stand looking. Our play has been predictable and void of quality. 2nd half must be much better.
