OPINION
As far as full debuts go, you won’t have a more forgettable one than what Jacob Murphy had in West Brom’s 1-0 win against Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday evening. Murphy, 23, failed to produce any kind of magic for Albion, especially when they are desperate for a bit of spark in their attack since losing Harvey Barnes to Leicester and Matt Phillips to injury. That is probably why so many West Brom fans have destroyed the Newcastle loanee on Twitter for his performance. Murphy didn’t do anything noteworthy other than fire some shots wide of the target and get absolutely clattered by Stoke’s Bruno Martins Indi. That rocked the former Norwich attacker, who failed to look as comfortable in West Brom’s green and yellow away kit as he did in the same colours at Carrow Road. Hopefully Murphy can improve but sometimes first impressions can last quite some time.

Considering Jacob Murphy is trying to revive his career he has very little heart, work rate and looks like he is made from Wheatabix . Yet to see any real quality from the bloke tbh#wba
