COMMENTARY
Many Leeds fans on social media were left fuming over Stuart Pearce’s verdict on the recent spy scandal as the pundit claimed while on Sky Sports’ The Debate show on Tuesday that he’d “reverse the scoreline” in the recent clash with Derby. The retired defender proudly stated that if the the scoreline was reversed then the “punishment” would fit the crime, and it was no surprise that Leeds fans were up in arms over his remarks. It’s ridiculous that Pearce genuinely believes Leeds should be stripped of their 2-0 win against Derby just because an employee was spotted spying on the opponents while they trained the day before the meeting. While some Leeds fans may go a little far by getting personal with Pearce due to his views, by pointing out that he wasn’t exactly an amazing footballer, you can see their anger is warranted. The pundit is completely barking up the wrong tree with his verdict and really needs to reassess his view.

So Stuart Pearce thinks the FA should reverse the Leeds v Derby result and award Derby the 3 points, what a plonker. I always thought he wasn’t the brightest in the class and now I’m totally convinced. #MOT

I have a lot of respect for Stuart Pearce remember that pen..but calling for the result to be reversed is ridiculous. Even FL said it didn't effect the result.
