Rangers have a chance to avenge their loss to Livingston when the Scottish Premiership returns on Saturday, and Steven Gerrard must make three changes to his starting XI.

The Gers suffered a damaging 1-0 defeat by the newly-promoted minnows in September, and will have their sights set firmly on revenge at Ibrox this weekend.

The Light Blues hit some scintillating form ahead of the international break with a 7-1 demolition of Motherwell, and Gerrard will be hoping for more of the same against Livingston.

In goal, Allan McGregor must retain his normal spot.

Two changes must come in defence, with Borna Barisic replacing Andy Halliday on the left, while Connor Goldson must be introduced for 6’4″ colossus Nikola Katic [Transfermarkt], with Joe Worrall and James Tavernier remaining in place. Katic unfortunately looked hopeless against Motherwell and needs to regain his confidence fast.

In midfield, Ryan Jack must retain his place in the holding role should he regain fitness, while Ovie Ejaria and Scott Arfield also keep their places just in front. Should Jack not be fit, then Lassana Coulibaly must come in to the side.

On the wings, Glenn Middleton drops out in favour of Ibrox favourite Daniel Candeias, who returns after suspension, with Eros Grezda occupying the other flank.

Alfredo Morelos must lead the line as normal, with Kyle Lafferty made to wait for another start.

All in all this means three changes for Gerrard against Livingston, and this is a Rangers XI which should have more than enough to demolish the newly-promoted West Lothian side.
