A section of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to call for Jack Harrison to be axed from the team for Saturday’s Championship clash against Nottingham Forest.
Harrison was recalled to the starting XI for Wednesday’s 2-0 win over bottom club Ipswich Town but was withdrawn after 58 minutes in favour of left-back Tom Pearce.
Many Leeds supporters were disappointed with the attacker’s performance and believe he should be dropped at the weekend.

COMMENTARY:
Harrison has done some good things in a Leeds jersey since joining on loan from Manchester City in the summer but he has also looked pretty ropey at times. Supporters’ comments on his performance against Ipswich are a reflection of his mixed end product and tendency to go missing, something that has been a common thread during his extended run in the team. Certainly, Harrison and his parent club can’t complain Marcelo Bielsa hasn’t given him plenty of opportunities. He has started eight of Leeds’ last nine league matches, all of them in his favoured wide attacking role. Comparing a 21-year-old to dazzling maestro Pablo Hernandez, who is ageing better than a vintage bottle of Rioja, is unfair, but, as many Leeds fans point out, it is high time home-grown star Jack Clarke, four years his junior, is given his first senior start. The teenager has looked impressive during a series of cameos, and is ready to dazzler for a longer period at the weekend.
Harrison was poor but maybe needed that game, think Clarke offers more imo. Alioski coming in field was new too, some good play from him. Pearce excellent as you say. Bera wasn't far from a red card so glad he went off.

Forshaw in place of Saiz is sound but more important change would be Clarke for Harrison who fails to impress

Harrison not doing enough to justify starting that’s for sure. Forshaw did well we he came on. Clarke can’t be far off starting.

I’d drop Harrison, play Saiz in the front three (or just behind) and start Forshaw.

Tom Pearce looked quality when he came on last night. If Douglas isn’t fit for Saturday I’d definitely start him with Alioski on the wing. Think Harrison needs a rest and Alioski looked better last night too.

Pablo miles the most creative player we have in comparison to Saiz and Alioski but Harrison was shocking tonight Alioski love or hate him made Harrison look league two when he went left wing we looked far more dangerous he’s very underrated amongst #lufc fans

Forshaw almost looked better in Klich position than Klich, and Klich looks better further forward. For me that’s Saiz out and use him as impact sub for a while or maybe out wide instead of Harrison.
