A section of Leeds United fans have expressed concern that Tyler Roberts is set to spearhead the attack against Millwall tomorrow.
The United manager Marcelo Bielsa explained at his media conference at lunchtime on Thursday that the 19-year-old is his first choice to replace injured duo Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford.
Bielsa on alternatives to Roofe: "The first option we have is Tyler Roberts. We have also other possibilities." #lufc

COMMENTARY:
You can hardly blame Leeds fans for being concerned at how Roberts will fare in the daunting atmosphere of the New Den, where the natives pride themselves on being as inhospitable as possible. United have roared out of the starting blocks this season, but supporters are anxious the thundering start could come to a half after three key first-teamers were ruled out through injury – Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi. The loss of Roofe will certainly be a painful one, and it has been exacerbated by the four-month absence of Patrick Bamford. One man’s pain is another man’s opportunity, and the door opens for Roberts to get his first league appearance earlier than he would have expected. The January signing from West Brom failed to impress in his two League Cup matches earlier this season, but Bielsa will hope his two cameo performances for Wales will have boosted his confidence.
So cb and striker the 2 positions we all agrees we needed more. We now have 2fit cb. And no strikers. Class

Massive test for Marcelo and our paper thin squad and it's only Sept. Up front clearly the major issue and just hope Roberts can step up and start justifying the £3m price tag #lufc

Not saying don’t play him. But saying it shows how thin the squad is. I’ve not been impressed with him so far either. And I saw all preseason too.

Got a bad feeling the squad depth thing could potentially bite us nearer the back end of the season – especially if we stay in the top 4. January will surely be interesting- and busy for you mate! #lufc #mot
